PRESIDENT'S LETTER
Greetings Club Members!
We have had a lot of fun this year visiting museums, enjoying the arts, traveling and continuing to enjoy the retirement life. We really are a fun and cheerful group!!!!
Our 3rd Quarter luncheon is set for Friday, September 5. The theme is Back to School and/or represent your Favorite Football Team.
We are also continuing to work on increasing our membership. So please reach out to a fellow retiree and invite them to join you at the luncheon.
Friendly reminder. We are still looking for folks to step up to a leadership position in the club this coming year. We especially need a treasurer and secretary. We also have a board member position still needing to be filled.
If you have any suggestions on how we can improve our club, please let me know.

Activities throughout the year ahead!
Club Members,
We are happy to announce our 2nd qtr. luncheon on June 6, 2025; 11:00 - 1:00 pm at Alicias Mexican Grille, 20920 Kuykendahl Rd, Spring, Texas 77379. Please come out and join us for some fun, laughter, trivia games and your chance to win one of our gift cards.
The cost of the luncheon for club members is $25.00 and $32.00 for guests. The lunch includes: chips and salsa, chicken and steak fajitas, rice and charro beans, flour tortilla's, soft drink or tea and your choice of cheese-cake or tres-leches. There is also a vegetarian option of vegetable fajitas.

Overnight Trips for 2025
We received very little response for the overnight trips to Carter Creek winery resort & spa, Kalahari resort, and the northshore in Louisiana. However, there is interest in the overnight trip to Fredericksburg, TX (Oct 6-8, 2025). We have an itinerary for the trip to Fredericksburg but are searching for transportation options. If you have any suggestions for transportation please contact me as soon as possible.

EMRCN Volunteers at NAM
On December 16th, members helped with NAM's toy drive and food pantry. NAM obtained a $500 grant from ExxonMobil. Thanks to everyone who donated toys as well as our volunteers (Bob Canobbio, Lee Schlomer, John Measmer, Sandra Scott, Karl Strobl, Bonnie Strobl, & Mark Moyer).
